Good Eggs, Head of Operations
My first job in food was:
Helping my mom make scones for the Tea Room at Felissimo, a Japanese department store in New York
What brought me to San Francisco:
My current job!
My one-year goal:
Meet our growth & profitability goal at Good Eggs
My five-year dream:
Be happy and satisfied professionally and personally, juggling raising 2 kids and continuing to work in a job I love.
My mentor, and the most important lesson I learned from him or her:
No current mentor, but my first supervisor out of college, Shalinee Sharma, taught me not to stress about life decisions that aren't immediately actionable -- set a calendar reminder for however far in the future you might actually be able to make some headway on the decision, and commit not to think about it until then.
The person I'd most like to collaborate with, and the project:
I'm not sure!
What I can teach other people in this group:
Excel skillz, advice on how to manage a 100+ person warehouse operation
My favorite thing to cook:
A huge salad made of whatever odds and ends are in the fridge.
Vodka and club soda with lime, or rosé
How I relax:
Cooking or hiking
I am proof that I am not good at coming up with clever taglines!
